Only nine drink drive arrests made in December
Police say hundreds of drivers have been stopped so far this festive season.
Of those, the Isle of Man Constabulary's Roads Policing Unit has made nine arrests, and prosecuted five drivers since 1st December; when the party season started.
Sergeant Jamie Tomlinson says stop checks are being conducted fairly, and within legal parameters:
Sailings cancelled due to predicted gales
Have your say on the future of the Island's plantations
Warning for 'disorderly' parents attending schools
Yellow weather warning for gale force winds
