Police officers are conducting house-to-house inquiries in Ramsey after a series of arson attacks in the town, in which attempts were made to force burning items through letter boxes.
Inspector Derek Flint of the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team says he is trying to gather as much information as possible about the offences and is grateful for the community’s continuing support and co-operation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey Police on 81 2234, or call the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
Meanwhile, anyone with concerns about the security of their property, with particular regard to their letterbox, can contact PC Mike Radcliffe for crime prevention advice at Police Headquarters on 631373.
