A memorial garden to the Greater Manchester police women murdered in the line of duty has been opened this morning at the station where they were based.
PCs Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes were killed in a gun and grenade attack while investigating as burglary in the Mottram area of the city in September.
Fiona attended Castle Rushen High School sixth form and her parents still live in the Island.
Today, former colleagues and supporters gathered at Hyde police station to see a public garden in the women's memory unveiled.
