FOI request reveals figures
There were more reports of drinks being spiked on the Isle of Man last year, than ever before.
A Freedom of Information request has revealed there were 11 reports to police from April 2017 to 2018 - including the words 'spike' and 'drink'.
The records from Island police go back to 2012 - but there were only 2 reports from 2012 to 2015.
From then however numbers appear to rise significantly - with 6 cases in 2015-16 and 7 in 2016-17.
Last year's figures though saw a record 11 reports, with 2 cases since April this year.
