Follows increase in reports of residents handing over cash
If something seems too good to be true, it generally is.
That's the warning from the Isle of Man Constabulary following an increase in reports of scams which have seen Island residents handing over large amounts of cash.
The service is advising people to contact individuals or companies on their known telephone number to clarify if payment has actually been requested.
