Just one serious injury collision
Police in the Island say they are 'very pleased' this year's Festival of Motorcycling has passed with just one serious road accident.
The Constabulary's roads policing unit dealt with a single incident resulting in serious injury during the fortnight.
Last year there were four serious injury accidents on Manx roads, and two motorcyclists were killed.
Officers say that amounts to 'a significant' 18% reduction in collisions, year-on-year.
Sergeant Steven Lapsley has thanked his team, neighborhood officers, the road safety unit - and the public.
