Message put out as Xmas party season gets under way
As the Christmas party season gets into full swing, police are warning that verbal and physical abuse of bus and taxi drivers will not be tolerated.
They say there has been a small minority of people who have done so in the last few years.
The Isle of Man Constabulary adds it takes a zero tolerance approach to this sort of behaviour, which is likely to end up in a court appearance.
If you see a driver being abused, you're urged to report it.
