RPU dealt with 15 less accidents than in 2016
Police say they're satisfied their road safety strategy is working, after a particularly quiet TT in terms of accidents.
This year's festival saw the lowest civilian death toll since 2013, when not a single person was killed on Manx roads.
One person, a 69-year old man from Foxdale, was killed in a collision during the middle weekend of the fortnight.
But the total number of road accidents also fell to 76, from 91 in 2016.
Sergeant Steven Lapsley says the poor weather was a factor - but he also praised the force's increased focus on speed deterrents:
