
Friday night's high-profile police operation in Douglas is being hailed a success by the force.
Officers were out in numbers to ensure there was no trouble on the capital's streets, which were packed with revellers of all ages thanks to a combination of pay day and the last day of school.
Inspector Ken Kneale says a significant number of arrests were made, but many were early interventions to stop situations escalating.
