Police have released the name of the elderly woman who died after a road accident at St Mark's.
Eighty-four-year-old Pamela Egee from Port St Mary died in hospital from her injuries this morning.
The car she was travelling in spun off the Braaid to St Mark's road in Marown yesterday, careering 25 metres down an embankment and coming to rest in a stream.
Her husband, who's 90 and was driving the car, is still being treated in hospital.
Three fire tenders were involved in the rescue operation, using hydraulic cutting gear and ropes.
Police and ambulance crews were also at the scene and the road was closed for several hours yesterday afternoon.
