
Beware the one-eyed monsters!
That’s the message from the southern neighbourhood policing team which is focusing a new campaign on vehicles with defective lights.
Over the next month, road-side checks will be carried out during times where lights are required.
The message from Acting Sergeant Louise Kennaugh is to check lights and ensure vehicles are in good working order, before every journey.
She says the campaign is focusing on education rather than prosecution (audio file attached):
