Two-year drive to educate Manx residents
The Island's police are launching a two-year campaign to raise awareness of cyber crime.
The Get Safe Online campaign will aim to educate Manx residents about the different types of cyber-related crimes, such as fraud and abuse.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says cyber crime has overtaken many forms of traditional crime as a threat, and that nobody is immune regardless of their background, age or location.
The police are joining forces with HSBC on the campaign, which will include education in schools, community events and business forums.
