Police have reported that some motorists are still 'choosing to ignore' the one-way restriction on Market Street in Douglas.
In a post on social media, officers say, 'the signage is clear and has been reinforced by painted markings on the road.'
Drivers are warned that if they are stopped for contravening this system, they will be issued penalty points and fined.
The Roads Policing Unit says, 'don't be lazy, add a few minutes to your journey and save yourself having a tarnished driving record.'
