Police issue Easter weekend safety reminder

Police urge responsible driving, sensible drinking, and considerate parking over busy Easter weekend

The Isle of Man Constabulary is urging the public to stay safe and considerate over the Easter weekend, particularly as events and celebrations take place across the Island.

With large gatherings expected - including a concert by singer Gary Barlow and the annual Easter Festival of Running - police are encouraging people to park responsibly, drive with care, and look out for others on the roads.

Those planning to drink alcohol are also reminded to stay within their limits, with officers warning that a single moment of poor judgement can have serious consequences.

The force is asking motorists and eventgoers alike to be patient, watch for signage, and prioritise safety during the busy holiday period.
