Vulnerable residents targeted
Police have issued a warning following reports of people 'cold calling' for odd jobs in the west Douglas area.
The force is asking people to keep a vigilant eye on any neighbours who 'may be susceptible to these approaches'.
It comes as vulnerable residents and home owners have been targeted.
Anyone who has been affected by cold calling is asked to contact the Office of Fair Trading, or the police.
