Tyre warmers taken and equipment boxes 'rifled through'

Police are investigating reports of equipment in TT race team tents being stolen or looked through.

The constabulary says it's had reports of people entering workshop areas in tents at the rear of the TT Grandstand.

According to officers, tyre warmers have been stolen and equipment boxes with tools and spares 'rifled through'.

Authorities are warning not only is this criminal behaviour, but can have safety implications for riders.

Anyone working in or visiting the paddocks are asked to remain vigilant.

Meanwhile, Police add they will respond immediately if anyone is seen to enter a workshop uninvited or suspiciously.
