Money linked to organised crime
An attempt to send £40,000 off Island through the post has been foiled by police and the Isle of Man Post Office.
After the ill-gotten gains were intercepted, a man has appeared in court and pleaded guilty to attempting to remove criminal property from the Island.
The constabulary has thanked the post office for supporting efforts to tackle organised crime.
