Police in the west of the Island says they are hoping to become faces to remember as they launch a new initiative.
The scheme, called 'A Name in Every Neighbourhood', is based on leaflets featuring photographs of local officers, to let locals know who they are.
Inspector Mark Britton says it follows on from other 'getting to know you' ideas, such as 'Cuppa with a Copper', and it can make a real difference to crime:
