Police are appealing for information after a stolen vehicle was crashed and abandoned near the Liverpool Arms public house in Onchan.
The silver Lexus IS 200 car was travelling towards Baldrine when it collided with a grass hedge.
It then continued for a short distance before being abandoned on the tram lines on Groudle Road.
Police believe the accident happened around 1.30am on Friday.
Anyone with information is asked to ring police in Peel on 842208, on the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
