Two violent and seemingly unprovoked attacks on men in Douglas are being investigated by police.
In the first, the victim was assaulted near the jubilee clock on Loch Promenade, some time between 2.30 and 3am on Sunday.
He was punched to the ground, then kicked by a group of men, leaving him with head injuries.
Then, at around 3.15am, near the junction of Victoria Street and Duke Street, another man was punched in the face several times.
Police are appealing for witnesses as they hunt a group of four men, all said to be around 20-years-old.
One of the suspects was wearing a black t-shirt and another had a black t-shirt and a white long sleeved shirt.
Anybody who can help identify those responsible is asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212, or the anonymous Crimestoppers line, on 0800 555 111.
