Owner disturbs intruder
There was a burglary at a house on the Old Castletown Road in Douglas during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The thief was disturbed by the owner of the property and ran away.
There were several police vehicles patrolling the area earlier today.
Officers say they are conducting various enquiries and no further information can be provided at this time.
