Police are hunting coldhearted thieves who targeted a van belonging to a charity.
The white Citroen Relay belonging to Age Concern was broken into between 7pm on Thursday last week and 8am the following day.
The van, which was in a car park on South Quay in Douglas had black plastic bump strips removed from both sides and its grill and bonnet were badly damaged as thieves broke into the engine to take diesel fuel injectors.
Officers say it may have been deliberately targeted for its parts and are urging anybody with any information to get in touch.
