Man due in court today
A man has been charged with drug offences after cannabis with a street value of £100,000 was found in his hold luggage by a sniffer dog at Ronaldsway Airport.
Officers have praised police dog Harley who detected the drugs yesterday morning (8 January).
The man's luggage was identified on the carousel and inspecting officers found 5kg of cannabis inside.
It's said to be part of a joint operation between the Isle of Man Constabulary and customs with work ongoing at the Island's ports.
The man is due to appear at Douglas Courthouse this morning.
