IOM Constabulary brand behaviour 'unacceptable'
Social distancing was ignored last night in various areas across the Island.
In a post on social media, police say they were called to deal with a number of groups of young people not adhering to the two-metre rule, some of whom were causing anti-social behaviour and fighting.
Government recently eased restrictions on gatherings, meaning people can meet up outdoors in groups of ten as long as they maintain social distancing.
The IOM Constabulary says the responsibility for following government guidelines is with the public now, but they will get involved if people are causing a risk to others safety.
Officers added, "the behaviour of the individuals last night is 'unacceptable' and...parents 'need to know where their children are and what they're up to."
