Nine motorists stopped
Police say they will continue to do 'spot checks' on an access lane they think is being used by people looking for a short cut.
This week they've stopped, and spoken to, nine motorists using Peveril Road in Peel.
It's after a woman was hit by a car whilst walking her child home from school.
Officers say they will patrol in the area and educate drivers who use the road, which leads to Mountain View, as a cut through.
