Officers called to the scene at Ballacraine this afternoon
A mountain bike rider has died while taking part in this afternoon's End 2 End mountain bike race.
Police confirmed officers attended the incident near to Ballacraine during the annual event.
Further details will be released at a later time, and the Isle of Man Constabulary is asking that the family of the cyclist is given privacy.
In a post on the race's Facebook page, the Manx Mountain Bike Club and End 2 End committee passed on their condolences.
