It's believed they witnessed a 'motoring and disorder related incident'
Police are appealing to the driver of a red Kia who was in the area of Peel Road and Glen Mooar Road in St John’s on Wednesday night (6 August) to come forward.
They say at approximately 6.30pm there was a 'motoring and disorder related incident' involving 'two vehicles and the occupants'.
Arrests have been carried out and the matter is still under investigation.
The red Kia is said to have driven past the incident, and officers would like to speak to the vehicle's occupants, who they believe witnessed it.
Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212, quoting reference 97/5685/25.
