Officers keen to hear from those offered hawthorn saplings for sale
Police are investigating after around 500 plants were cut on private land at a property on the Island.
Cuttings of three to four inches in length have been taken from the hawthown plants between 23 and 27 May.
Officers believe this act would have taken some thought and time to do, and are appealing for anyone who has been offered a hawthorn sapling for sale to come forward.
