Emergency vehicles seen 'pursuing' car on Monday afternoon
Police have confirmed to Manx Radio that activity in the area of Pulrose Power Station yesterday was a training exercise.
A video shared on social media showed an officer deploying a spike strip to stop a vehicle being pursued by police.
A spokesperson says it was part of a training exercise under controlled conditions and not involving members of the public.
