
Investigations are continuing after a body was found in a burning car in the North of the Island.
A man’s body was found shortly before 8pm on Tuesday on the Cranstal Road near the Point of Ayre Lighthouse.
Officers were called to the scene after firefighters tackled the blaze.
The man’s death is being described by police as “unexplained”.
