An uplifting occasion is promised at the Villa Marina this Sunday (March 23).
The Isle of Man Choral Society and Isle of Man Symphony Orchestra are joining forces for their annual community concert, teaming up with well-known local soloists Mandy Griffin and Karen Elliott.
And in the year of the Island of Culture, Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man will take centre stage with Poulenc’s Gloria also being performed.
Musical director Julian Power says it should be a very special and personal occasion.
The gala concert takes place on Sunday evening at 7.30pm.
