Plea for grit and leaves to be removed

It was dumped near cycle track in Marown

The committee responsible for the Marown Memorial Playing Fields is appealing to anyone who dumped waste near the cycle track to remove it.

Earlier this week, a pile of rubbish and leaves was left in the area.

In a social media post, the committee highlighted the time and effort they put into maintaining the fields, saying it is unfair to expect them to deal with avoidable mess.
