Hopes to 'breathe new life into village' with event
A Bride commissioner has organised a public plant and seed swap this weekend (14 April) as part of her efforts to breathe new life into the village.
The event will take place at Bride Methodist Hall from 2pm until 4pm, with all funds raised going to charity Manx Wild Bird Aid.
Plants, seeds, and seedlings will all be welcome at the event, where gardeners will be able to exchange or take items after making a small donation.
Julie Billingsley, who was first elected as a commissioner in February this year, says she hopes the seed swap brings people from far and wide to the village:
