Structure was a key element of RAF Jurby
Planning consent is being sought for the renovation of the iconic Jurby Airport Watchtower.
The structure was a key element of RAF Jurby, which opened for the first time just two weeks into World War ll.
The control tower is a registered building and the proposed work will involve extensive refurbishment and repairs to its interior and exterior facade.
The project will be carried out on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure.
