The Green Lounge in Ramsey will be an Island-first
Plans are in place to open the Island's first designated space for medicinal cannabis consumption.
The Green Lounge, on Parliament Street in Ramsey, will be an adult-only venue for those with consumption passes to take their prescription cannabis through vaporisation.
Founders Daisy-May Green and Maria Bostock say it's a facility created by patients for patients and they hope to open another outlet in Peel.
They told Manx Radio that they're also aiming to break the misconceptions and stigma around the drug:
A change of use application has been submitted and it's hoped the venue will open by the end of the year.
