Building condemned following recent stormy weather
An architectural historian has questioned the legitimacy of government plans to demolish a protected building on Douglas Promenade.
Peter Kelly doesn't believe the proposed demolition of Tramway Terrace, next to the tram horse stables building has followed proper planning procedures.
The Department of Infrastructure says that after a recent inspection of the building following stormy weather experts have recommended demolition.
But Mr Kelly, who is also a member of the Isle of Man Victorian Society, has concerns:
