Application for retail units, apartments and a restaurant
Plans have been submitted for the former Marine Biological Station in Port Erin.
An application has been lodged for approval in principle for an exhibition space, retail units, apartments and a restaurant to be built at the site.
More than 150 parking spaces are also included as part of the plans.
The station was bought from the Department of Infrastructure by developer Delgatie Limited last year for £500,000.
At the time, a spokesperson for the company said they want to develop the existing buildings into 'a high-quality multi-faceted complex which will enliven the area', titled 'The Breakwater'.
Substantial damage was caused to the building by a fire in 2016.
Full details of the proposals can be seen on the planning section of the Government's website.
