Steps provide clear path for law changes in future, gov't says
Plans to bring in new domestic abuse and sexual offences legislation on Island have been published.
The Department for Home Affairs wants to bring the Domestic Abuse, Sexual Offences and Obscene Publications and Justice Reform Acts into force.
The mission, government says, is to tackle some of 'the most damaging crimes in our society' and give new powers to police and the courts.
