Application made for driving and vehicle tests facility
The Department of Infrastructure has applied for planning permission for a new two storey vehicle and driving test centre to replace the existing facility.
The new centre would be located on Ballafletcher Farm Road in Douglas, and operate a one-way system.
In a statement accompanying the request for planning permission, the DoI explains that the new facility will carry out all vehicle, driving and theory tests.
The current site used for driving and vehicle tests would become available for redevelopment.
