Paul Dedman Performance to move into unit three

A motorcycle shop in the north of the Island is to relocate into the former Ramsey Bakery building.

The Planning Committee has approved plans for Paul Dedman Performance to move into the premises.

It will also mean a mezzanine level is installed in unit three, which is the front-facing section of the building, opposite the main road and Tesco.

The business will continue to sell motorcycles, equipment and clothing, and will also repair bikes in a workshop on site.

Currently Paul Dedman Performance operates in a shop on North Shore Road.

The proposals were described as "really good for Ramsey" as it won't just be another industrial unit in the former bakery, but a retail enterprise.

The operating hours will be 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday.

Commenting on the application, Chair Rob Callister said he saw "nothing but positives" in the plans.
They were approved unanimously by the committee.
