Wise-up to development plan for east
There's a chance for residents to wise-up to plans for long term development in the east of the Island, at a public meeting tonight (27 March).
More than 200 sites have been earmarked for potential housing or business development in a new strategic plan, which is currently put for public consultation.
The Positive Action Group (PAG) has invited the Island's head of planning policy in the Isle of Man Diane Brown to give a presentation and answer questions from the floor.
The meeting at the Manx Legion Club in Douglas which is free and open to all, starts at 7.30pm.
Island-wide, the government says more than 5000 new homes are needed by 2026, with many likely to be built near towns and villages in the east.
Chairman of PAG Roger Tomlinson is urging residents to find out what's in the pipeline, while there's still time to comment:
