It's expected to take six months to construct
Planning permission to build a new reservoir and pump station, in Jurby, has been granted.
The £2.9 million project will provide clean drinking water and be constructed off the A14 Ballamenagh Road adjacent to the ex-RAF Parade Ground.
The three-quarters-of-a-million litre reservoir will take six months to build.
Alongside supplying water to existing customers, the facility aims to support the recently installed pipeline and deliver essential fire-fighting requirements for the industrial estate and surrounding areas.
Construction is set to begin in summer 2024.
