
The Chief Minister says he’s confident a merger between the MEA and the Water and Sewerage Authority will work.
It will come into effect on April 1, if Tynwald members next week approve a raft of plans to restructure government.
There’s been concern the move will shift the Manx Electricity Authority’s debt onto the profit making water body.
But Allan Bell says it will remain government debt, regardless of what department or statutory board it’s attached to.
