Kodiak diverted from Borneo to Palu
A light aircraft, donated by an Island-based company has been providing emergency aid to Indonesia in the wake of a major earthquake and tsunami.
David and Alison Dorricott, who run AFD Group in Lezayre, acquired the specialised Kodiak plane 10 years ago to celebrate the company's 25th anniversary.
It was donated to the charity Mission Aviation Fellowship, or MAF, and is now based in Borneo delivering day to day support for remote areas.
However, David says he's been touched to see the aircraft being used to help people in Indonesia. . . .
