Santa to swap Reindeer for bike

Santa Claus is coming to town, on a bike.

Plan.com has announced its charity fundraiser of the year.

Inviting bikers from across the Island to join them in a festive cycle on Saturday 8 December.

Money raised from Santas on a Bike will go to Rebecca House at Isle of Man Hospice.

In previous fundraisers, the company's has been known to raise £50k in just two weeks. This time they're aiming even higher.

Hot drinks and mince pies will be served in the pit lane at the Grandstand at 10am.

After that, Santas will take to the road, heading to Douglas Promenade before cruising to Castletown and finishing at Isle of Man Hospice for more festivities.
