Bird found in Pulrose area, now recovering well
A pigeon has been found with a 'home made blow dart embedded in its wing'.
The bird was discovered in the Pulrose area on Sunday (3 November) and is now recovering well.
The police's wildlife crime unit have posted an appeal on social media, for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Officers have also stated it is an offence to intentionally kill or injure a bird, as is possession of a blow pipe in a public place.
