Funds key to restore Victorian structure
The Queen's Pier could be restored in less than five years - if the required funds required can be raised.
That's the belief of Tom Durrant, chairman of the Queen's Pier Restoration Trust, the group dedicated to its renovation.
A public meeting has been organised in Ramsey tonight (Thurs) to update members of the public on progress.
Mr Durrant says whilst there are great plans and plenty of enthusiasm, the money is key.
But he remains confident.
Tonight's meeting at the Methodist Centre on Waterloo Road is open to all from 7pm.
