Piece of Manx history commemorated
A signifcant piece of Manx history is being commemorated this evening (Friday) at Arbory Church.
The new Trafalgar window - celebrating the life and achievements of John Quilliam - will be consecrated along with an extended burial ground at 7.30pm.
John Quilliam was First Lieutenant in the famous Battle of Trafalgar and took charge when Lord Nelson was killed.
Canon Colin Finney expects the window to be a popular attraction to the church:
