Resident blasts 'bonkers' system
The cost of water on the Island was highlighted by one of the petitioners at Tynwald Hill yesterday.
Christy Parkes believes the way rates are calculated at the moment is "totally unfair".
Mrs Parkes has written to her MHK and the paper over the last year about the issue.
She says she now feels petitioning is her only option to try and address a system which she describes as "bonkers":
