Says current rules regarding the beach 'doesn't stand'
By-laws in Peel which restrict when dogs are allowed on the beach should be eased, according to a Tynwald Day petitioner.
Nigel Sperring says dog walkers are forced to take their pets elsewhere, benefiting other areas, whilst the western town misses out.
The Peel resident submitted a Petition for Redress of Grievance on the Isle of Man's National Day (5 July).
He says the current restrictions in place make no sense:
